Blue Lotus (Nymphaea caerulea) Flowers

1 Ounce Premium dried organic Nymphaea caerulea flowers

AKA the Egyptian Blue Lily or Sacred Blue Lily however most commonly called Blue Lotus. For thousand of years this flower has symbolized spiritual enlightenment. The ancient Egyptians used it in medicine and as a ritual herb for its euphoric, hypnotic, sedative, antispasmodic, aphrodisiac effects and as a psychodysleptic by shamanistic priest.

The Egyptians believed that the world was originally covered by water and darkness. A Blue Lily sprang up from the water and opened its petals to reveal a young god, a Divine Child. Light streamed from the Divine Child to banish universal darkness. This child god was the Creator, the Sun God, the source of all life. When the Pharao known as King Tut was entombed, his body was covered in N. Caerulea flowers.

Traditionally mixed with wine or other types of alcohol and also smoked at the same time. Some Believe it was the Nymphaea that mystically connected the Egyptian and Mayan civilizations even though they are on opposite sides of the earth.
